Mongoose: Quintessential Psionics?

I'd second a project like this. More monsters, psionic powers, prestige classes, weapons, armor, locations, history, and other good stuff to mesh and augment psionics more.

A quintessential Psion book would be wonderful.I think that Fiery Dragon has something on psionic coming up called psionic toolkit

This goes for companies other than mongoose as well.I'd love to see a fullscale psionis prouduct filled with crunchy psionic bits like new powers and prestige classes.

Someone needs to support Psionics.

Fiery Dragon to the rescue!

If you didn't know already, Dark Psion, Of Sound Mind has been out since January -- the first psionics supported print product other than the PsiHB itself. By all accounts, OSM is loved by all who have touched it, read it, and found themselves captured by PirateCat's writing.

As Lady Dragon mentioned, FDP does have another psionics related product on the way, called Psionics Toolkit and written by Mike Mearls. If you want to know what's in it, check out the write-up on the FDP site, here.

PsiTK is focussed primarily on integrating psionics into your campaign, whether you're starting at 1st level or you've made it all the way to 15th level or higher. No new psionic powers, but there's a couple of prestige classes, a fleshed out psionic organization, some new monsters, new magic items, and several NPCs. Lots of crunchy bits, to be sure, but Mike also provides a wealth of material on how to make psionics fit seamlessly into your game. We got our copies of PsiTK this weekend, so I imagine that it should hit the store shelves fairly soon.

Other than FDP stuff so far, there is Bruce Cordell's If Thoughts Could Kill from Malhavoc -- which should be in print soon, I believe.

Thanks! ;)

FDP Mike, I've got OSM and I still reading through it. It's GREAT so far. I looking forward to putting the Psionics Toolkit to good use. But I want MORE... and yes I plan on getting ITCK once it's out.

So Mongoose Guys what do you'll say to a Quintessential Psion Book? I love the QF and I'm still waiting for the QR.

BTW keep up the great work. You guys are one of the best d20 companies out there, I love your products (at least the ones I've purchased that is :) ).

I have an autographed copy of "Of Sound Mind" and the Psionic Toolkit has been on pre-order from Talon Comics since about 10 seconds after he added it. :D

I've been reading all of the "Psionics are Weak" threads at the WoC Psi-site and my conclusion is that the real problem is the lack of visibile support. Aside from the two above and "If Thoughts Could Kill" all of the support has been from fans online.(Yes, the Epic level book will have some psi rules) And when you consider everything they have done in new powers, prestige classes and feats, there is definitely a fan base to work with. For every one of us that posts something, how many more are there lurking and not online, but wanting more.

In fact I would say Psionics NEEDS the support more than any other aspect of 3e because it is a complete re-boot. It is a 1st edition class in a 3rd edition game. There are several holes that need patching, and a lot of unexplored territory to add.

Rumour has it that Malhavoc Press has Bruce Cordell working on a class-book type thingie for psionics.

For the life of me i can't find the particular thread at montecook.com's message boards, but i do recall it.
