The latest issues of Signs & Portents are now up for download, and we have some exciting articles in our Christmas magazines!
WARGAMER
World War II fanatics have a sizeable portion of the magazine to themselves as Victory at Sea hoves into view - their is an overview of the game, a complete battle report, and the first part of the Russian Fleet lists. There is also a sneak peek of Battlefield Evolution, Mongoose's new pre-painted wargame released in January, along with the full rules! Babylon 5: A Call to Arms fans get the T'Rakk frigate for the Narn, Tiger Starfuries for the Early Earth Alliance, some experimental rules for fire on board ships, and two new scenarios to give you some tactical problems to know over. For Starship Troopers, there is an article on building your own mushroom clouds (just to get the point across) and part two of the Gorlith camapign. Finally, Gangs of Mega-City One concludes the new rules for fighting in the Undercity, and Mighty Armies has some more event cards.
ROLEPLAYER
This month, we have new Rune Magic spells for RuneQuest, a Lizardfolk village for fantasy D20, and Rico Dredd for Judge Dredd. Babylon 5 players can read the concluding article for Legend of the Rangers, as well as luxuriate in 2nd edition rules for the Technomages (more coming next month!). Finally, we are starting to serialise the Soul and Steel supplement for the Wars RPG, and the issue concludes with the first part of an epic adventure for the Lone Wolf RPG.
