Hi guys,

The latest issue of Signs & Portents will be in local stores next week - subscribers, if you have not got your copies already, be assured they are winging their way to you now!

So, what does the latest issue have in store for you, aside from a rather nice picture of Ivanova on the inside cover, and an even nicer picture of Judge DeMarco on the front cover?

To support the all new Conan RPG, there is an article giving you all the rules you will need to use chariots in the Hyborian Age, complete with upgrades, combat rules and background on which nations use them.

Fergee gets the spot light in More Most Wanted for the Judge Dredd RPG - this will mean nothing to those of you who are not long term 2000AD fanatics but Matt Sharp provides a familiar face to you veterans.

Editor Ian Barstow interviews Mongoose director Alex Fennell, complete with the Throne of Power. You will have to see that to believe it. . .

Serving the House adds two new Centauri prestige classes for the Babylon 5 RPG, straight from the scribblings of the Lizard - the Facilitator and the Kallido Mancari. Just in time for the forthcoming Centauri Republic Fact Book and campaigns set within the Royal Palace.

Shannon Kalvar continues with his heady and intellectual Gaming Symposium, offering a deeper thought into roleplaying. This time, Shannon takes a look at the place of festivals in a fantasy setting., giving you everything you need to bring your societies to life.

A new Power Class is completely detailed in this issue - the Crusader. If the charming Charismatic from the last issue was not quite your thing, the righteous Crusader might just be. As always, this is a complete core class, ready to be inserted into your games for either players or NPCs.

Alejandro Melchor waxes lyrical in A Question of Culture, providing detailed rules for Cultural Templates to be applied to characters - your characters can now, for example, come from an Airborne Culture, Dark Age Culture, High Mountain Culture, or any one of a wide selection.

Chloe is the Signs & Portents Page 43 Girl this month. Don't ask.

Jonny Nexus ploughs forward with I Think My Games Master Hates Me. More views of insanity from the gaming perspective.

The Creature Feature this month concentrates on all kinds of insectoid vermin such as the Stilt Beetle and Shriek Spider.

No Sudden Moves by August Hahn gives tips on how to run hostage-based scenarios in Babylon 5 and Judge Dredd with a bunch of trigger happy players.

Signs & Portents issue 6 winds up with Unusual Suspects, a complete perp scenario for the Judge Dredd RPG, and updated Contract Negotiation rules for Armageddon 2089.

Something for pretty much everyone in this issue, I think!

Gosh, I gotta really admire those d20 publishers that take time out of their Christmas holiday to work on getting their products out to us.

Merry Christmas guys :)

Thank you _very_ much. That is really appreciated.

However, this is also the reality of a small business. I imagine every publisher worth their salt is working this Christmas Day.

Best wishes to the lot of you. And remember - whatever the trials and tribulations (working on Christmas Day!), it beats working for someone else!
