Hi guys,

The Official 2000AD RPG web site has been updated at http://www.2000adrpg.com

Previews and full details of the Rookie's Guide to Block Wars and Mega-City One's Most Wanted are now up, as well as our full release schedule up to November.

This means, of course, that we now have the front cover artwork for the Slaine RPG and, I think you will agree, it is a real stunner! We also have details of a Judge Dredd project that everyone can join in on, so if you want to shape your own little part of Mega-City One, take a look. You can also now subscribe directly to the 2000AD comic from our web site, no matter where you are in the world.

Bust a punk's head today!

one question about the D20 judge Dredd, I been noting in the main book that they discuss a sample adventure in the text supposely as a intro game... umm I can't find it in the book (appearently suppose to be in chapter 13 in a 12 chapter book...) so any chance we will see it on the web or some such?

The Judge Dredd game looks damn good, folks. If my wallet could afford it, I'd be on a buying spree. I knew that Mongoose had it in them to make top-notch product; this isn't polished nice and smooth like a WOTC product, and it's not elegant in its design like a Green Ronin product, but it works without any big wonky bits. I expected Mongoose to do great things, and they have; don't blow it now.

Slaine!

I have reviewed the new cover and find it pleasing! If the game itself lives up to the expectations that I have for it after flipping thru Judge Dredd, then there will be much rejoicing and the ale will flow freely. But if not, I shall hop in my Sun Chariot and travel over the World Sea to bring fire and retribution to the Land of Mongooses(Mongeese?) for Slaine is truly the greatest of all epics. Ye have been warned!

;)

Incidentally, will there be a limited edition of Slaine? The Dredd limited edition has to be the most unique I've ever seen.

Even this close to going to print, we have yet to settle on ann idea for a Limited Edition Slaine book - it would be cool though. We have bandied around ideas from engraved wood to some sort of shield. My personal favourite, however, is Wild Boar fur. Or human skin :)

Limited Ed. Slaine cover

I would say that wicker would probably be an appropriate cover material for Slaine so that after 7 years you could burn it, but of course no one in their right mind would burn a Slaine book. Hmmm.....how about covering it in Slaine's cast off, sweat and blood stained plaids?
