I have a question... I was wondering why everyone keeps on the same ideas as the previous company. Why not use other races and incorporate the demi-humans from D20 into the game as well which would flesh out the world even more. NO ONE has done a world with all the other races still living and making their own style mechs. Battletech is a Universe filled with humans and super-humans (clans). Why not use the demi-humans and expand on that idea. I would like to see a mecha game for D20 system where I could use the players handbook plus the mecha supplement. The dwarves would have powerful and slow-moving mechs while the elves would have sleek and fast moving mechs. While the humans have a mixture of both of these types of mechs. On top of this maybe create a new mage type that also would mix technology and magic together. I myself am into these types of sci-fi games where I run a game for fantasy players along with Sci-fi players and everyone is loving the games. That's what I loved about the Rifts game, but the combat system bogged down the game to much. I love technology but also love the mystery behind arcane spell casting as well and some of my players also love this aspect of a role-playing game as well. I have a campaign world that I started on a long time ago with all elements in the game, but since coming over to the D20 system from Palladium system, I've put a hold on the game until a company comes out with technology for the original D20 rules and not the modern D20 rules. I also would like to see one day something I worked on get published and would like to E-mail someone the stuff I have written so far.
