Psionics have been a part of D&D for a long, long time and I've always been fond of them to some degree. Dark Sun drove it home for me, as it was an example of wide spread psionic use in a campaign that didn't feel overly sci-fi otherwise. I think the power source concept is a perfect way to give them some added difference from other sources (especially if they follow through and strip a lot of the psychic and mind altering type powers out of arcane).</blockquote>
