[QUOTE="Ungruush, post: 3959771, member: 58480"] so, ive recently started playing d and d, and...as im sure you have figured out at n point as i have now, the description of feats is quite vague, and in most cases, designed to allow the dm to adjust said abilities and feats to control the tempo of the game. this being said, my question involves the feat "monkey grip." the rules only metion weiling a one handed weapion, but have no dynamics or adjustments or clarifications for weilding 2 handed weapons. to give a better understanding of where my thoughts are, am using a half-ogre (as per the races of destiny) and wish to use the feat to increase the size of the weapons im able to weild in combat. now, if im not mistaken, said character, being large, can use a large weapon in one hand, such as a greatsword or greataxe, and can then use a weapon in the size catagory of huge two handed, right? if this is correct, than using the monkey grip feat should allow me to use a huge weapon one handed, and a gargantuan weapon in two hands....unless im just way off base. please, i beg you...help me out here... no one in my group seems to be able to figure this one out...
