Message: <blockquote data-quote="Dr. Zoom" data-source="post: 465081" data-attributes="member: 409"><p>You know, I have read many threads on these boards about how monks suck, got the shaft, cannot stun anything, etc., but I can say from my own experience as a DM with a monk PC that the player, myself, and the group as a whole have had loads of fun with the monk.  He does not have the highest AC, the most HP, the most damage capability, but he is by far the most exciting PC in the group.  I am having fun just thinking up new ways to describe his actions when he attacks or jumps and attacks, etc.  I just fail to see how anyone can say that monks are not a great class.  The one in my game makes our game sessions a blast.</p></blockquote><p></p>
