Monster based on a toy (ideas)

Hi all,

I picked up a cheap toy while shopping today, and was curious what people would suggest for it's D&D 3.5 stats.

I'm torn between half black dragon ettin, or a half black dragon blackscale lizardfolk with the multi headed template from Savage Species (don't worry too much about the metallic hues, I plan to paint it)...

My vote is for Half-Dragon Ettin or some kind of 2 Headed Dragon might fit it better. Allow each head to breathe separately and give them meta breath feats.

I'm more looking to make the stats fit the figure, than reaching a specific CR, but for the sake of argument, lets say CR 8. This would mean:

- Half black dragon ettin (no class levels)

- Half black dragon multiheaded blackscale lizardfolk barbarian 1

OTOH, you could go with any base race with both the Half-Dragon and Multi-headed templates (see Savage Species). Going that route, you'd have a wider variety of options, including making the critter Learnean.
