Here is a little challenge for you:
Add one or more templates to any base creature you could think of in a way that initially seems bizarre, strange, or even silly (like, say, a half-fiendish silver dragon). Then come up with a background story that allows that combination make sense without seeming silly or creating suspension of disbelief.
