monster database

Does anyone know of a database where every SRD critter is a record? Access or csv format would be great, but anything I can hack is ok. I would like to do some analysis for a campaign idea I have, but data entry is getting old.

Creature Database

DM's Familiar has all of the SRD monsters in a DBF (Foxpro, dBase) format (it's the Creature.dbf file in the DATA folder). You can download the free demo from the site and hack the file to your heart's content.

If you don't mind XML, you can find the SRD monsters in the data files for my Campaign Sage program (link).

One note: they haven't been updated to 3.5 (yet).

I'm actually working on a psuedo database (right now) of all the monsters in the SRD to simplify my own adventure preparation time. Its written in javascript and runs right in your browser. It has filters to allow you to view creatures of only a certain Challenge Rating, type (such as magical beast), size, etc. You can cut and paste the text right off the page and into other documents. Here are some sample screenshots...

One thing. The pictures are not in the SRD, nor are they OGC. If you use the pictures I strongly recommend that you link to the WOTC site instead of storing them locally.

Yes I realize there are legal issues having the art within the program. I will leave it in there for my own personnal use however if I choose to let other people use the program it will be taken out. I will leave the coding within the page so that someone with simple web page knowledge should be able to link to their custom or favorite "Allip" picture of choice :)
