Imagine if they had one standing in every doorway? You'd kill it and then move it aside to get into the next room? Bahahaha! It's a Choker (at least they were close...in a way). Someone correct me if I'm wrong with any of these, but in the first "Demons" picture, we have a Balor on the left, and a Marilith to the right. On to "More Demons," that is a Hezrou in back, I don't know what that is to the left (some new Demon maybe - I don't have the 3.5 MM), and yes, that is a Dretch to the right. Now for "Even More Demons," that is a Nalfeshnee in back (see the funny comment on that by Spiteful Dwarf above, heheh), and a Succubus in front. I almost didn't see the Quasit flying to the right side there. Hey there, little guy. {Scratch!} Ugh, I don't feel so good... Anyway, as for "Still More Demons," that's a Glabrezu in back, and a Vrock in front (same pic as in the 3.0 MM). Devils! In the "Devils" pic, we have a Hamatula to the left, a Gelugon in the middle, an Imp on the top right, and a Lemure on the bottom right. Onward to the "More Devils" picture, there is a Barbazu on the left, a Cornugon in the middle, and an Erinyes to the right. Finally, "Still More Devils" is the same illustration in the 3.0 MM, with a Pit Fiend to the left, and an Osyluth to the right. Hope this helps. :) As far as I know (and again, someone correct me if I'm wrong), "fiendish" is a term that applies to both Demons and Devils. Demons (also known as Tanar'ri), come from the Abyss and speak Abyssal. They are chaotic evil. Devils (also known as Baatezu), come from Baator (also known as Hell). They speak Infernal, and they are lawful evil. But both fall under the category of fiends. There will be a test later. :p I myself am a perfect example of how you refer to a templated creature. Though I refer to myself as a Fiendish Dire Monkey, since my location says that I am from the 9 Hells (the P.C. term is Baator), I am more specifically an Infernal Dire Monkey. (I've asked them over and over again to put my stats and a dashing illustration of me in the 3.5 MM, but all they do in reply is cast Summon Greater Telemarketer on me every 1d4 hours. )
