Just checking; anyone know the original sources for the following D&D monsters? (I have an idea for each of them, but I want to see who knows more than I do.) ;)

Eye Killer = White Dwarf #7

Symbiotic Jelly = White Dwarf #8 (where it was called Chaoticus Symbioticus)

Trapper = The Strategic Review #5

White Dwarf #7 = June/July 1978

White Dwarf #8 = August/September 1978

The Strategic Review #5 = December 1975

Dragon #68 = December 1982 (also includes the Basidirond)

The authors for the Eye Killer and Symbiotic Jelly are as listed in the back of the [1E] Fiend Folio.

EGG authored the Trapper, Ascomoid, and Basidirond.

here are some clues to jog the memory. i found the following in these sources, let me know if you think they were in something previously - or if you know they were not.

Archer Bush (D&D module B3 Palace of the Silver Princess)
Death Watch Beetle (AD&D first edition Monster Manual II)
Crypt Thing – (AD&D first edition Fiend Folio)
