I'm planning to make some changes to this Kickstarter to make it a bit better:
In short, the project is going to be 200 flat plastic miniatures (like cardboard minis, but done on credit-card-like plastic for durability and dry-erasability--mark hits taken, conditions, "Goblin #8", etc., on the mini itself) for $30/set. I'm really happy with the art so far, and you can see samples on the project's page. (Also, all 4 goblins are in the latest "update.") Please check it out, and if it seems interesting/useful, consider a pledge: Monster Stand-Ins
If you've got suggestions to further improve the project, I'd truly love to hear them. However, I can't change the project too radically since it is already in progress.
(Mods: I'm still working out what the new ad policies mean, so please be gentle.)
- More creatures: Going from 150+ to 200, at the same price. (It isn't 300, but the plastic has some advantages over cardboard, see below or the project for more details.)
- A La Cart Pricing: If you buy a set, get more of the creatures that you want to have extras (Make an orc army, a skeleton horde, etc.)
- Blanks: The project will include some blanks if the creature you need isn't close to any in the set.
