Monsterous Templates- Which are your favorites?

I have come to love creature templates. Most often used are Dire and Bone it seems. Others I had fun with include Spell-Stitched and Fiendish.

I was just wondering which are the favorites and why from the people that do the most creative monster making on EN World.

I think the one I've used the most is the half-dragon- one pc half-dragon, one pc dragon disciple at 10th level, several monsters and villains, one cohort/love child of a pc and a dragon.

Other than that, I've prolly used the Bile Monster template the most. It's a good'un.

All of them! Seriously, I have used most templates I have access to at least once, often more, and often in combination with one another....

I've based story arcs around:
- Half-Fiend (SRD)
- Shadow Creature (MotP)
- Insectile (SS)

...and soon:
- Psionic (XPH)

I have well over 200 different templates from the various books, campaigns and resources. Now at least I'll be able to find them much easier.
Goes from Abberation: Alien to Zombie: Thinking.

Done at least intil next week then Planar comes out then Ebberron....ah...
