Necro'ing this rather than making a new thread and it seems the most "general discussion" of the MotM threads. I just noticed one spectacularly dumb thing about the MotM approach to races. For height and weight, they all have this "phew I don't have to actually think about it!" blather: "Player characters, regardless of race, typically fall into the same ranges of height and weight that humans have in our world. If you’d like to determine your character’s height or weight randomly, consult the Random Height and Weight table in the Player’s Handbook, and choose the row in the table that best represents the build you imagine for your character." Sounds fine. Just one problem. Goliaths are called Goliaths because they're bigger than the other ones, and none of the height/weight charts, not even the Dragonborn one are really big and heavy enough for Goliaths! Also "Little Giant" is just an epic burn disguised as a racial ability. You might as well rename "Kobold Legacy" to "UwU cutey dragin" for Kobolds. It's brutal. I guess the problem will probably be solved when he get the many unnecessary flavours of Goliaths (who have apparently suddenly become basically Half-Giants) in the Giant book, where they'll probably be more explicit about the height, but I was annoyed and obviously the internet needs to know.
