At the end of the encounter there is still a generic 'trasure' roll, so nothing really get used up (not much anyways <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f600.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":D" title="Big grin :D" data-smilie="8"data-shortname=":D" />) Its nice for my players to know what MIGHT be on the creature while in battle and thay have a chance to get it for themselves. Gold and gems and vendor sale items and objects are usually rolled randomly (with some random items I throw in every now and then ... so they won't necessarily see a quest item unless they remembers its significance in some other part of the game before.)</p><p></p><p>=.^.^=</p></blockquote><p></p>
