That would be more like "Eh, 4e sucked, we're doing something totally different now and guess what, it's going to look like AD&D!" Not that it was a bad game, but not the one I'd really like to play nowadays. Anyway, it is all chatter, what will happen will happen, and IME game design shops are remarkably resistant to suggestions that people might not like whatever they're cooking this year, lol.
