More on the Lantanese?

There are plenty of references to Lantan and the people within, but it consists of general information about the Isle. Have any authors in the FR field written about Lantan in depth? Is there more out there about possibly placing a party there? I just want to get more in depth with Lantan, but i cant find anything that lets me see a characters view of it. If there isnt, would i be justified in making up a fair bit of detail to suit my needs for flavor and such?

From memory, there's not much. Have you looked up Gond in 2E's Faiths & Avatars?

Anyway, the best suggestion for FR lore is to head over to forum.candlekeep.com and ask your question there. Someone will point you in the right direction and may even have some Ed Greenwood quotes for you. (And try Googling Lantan on forum.candlekeep.com because lots of stuff will come up.)
