We moved from 30 years of 2e to 4e these last 2 years, running 2 campaings, level 7 and 8.

Finding the game very very nice to play.
Congratulations to Wizards and the D&D community supporters.

The maps and encounters, and how terrain works with the rules and the special enemy powers, which we have no idea what they will bring to the table.

Is making for very exciting and interesting game play.
A bit like 2e crossed with Warhammer.

Actually now I think about it, their were the little green and red books so that makes it 1st Edition doesnt it.

But after we went to 2nd edition as soon as it arrived, we basically stayed there :)

The game is pretty cool.

I've been having a blast running, and playing it. More fun than I'd had in a long time. It does have some issues, but I find those rather simple to work around, or easily modify. It's also very good for tinkering.

I'm having a great time.

If you mean books like the complete handbooks, that was indeed 2e.

The only supplements I recall for 1e were Unearthed Arcana, Dungeoneering Guide, Wilderness Survival Guide, MM2, Fiend Folio and lots of modules. I'm sure there were more but we weren't as flooded with 1e as with 2e.
