First Post
i recently was asked to sit on the board of our local library, and donated a few head jugs to their childrens dept.

as a result of this the enwspaper wanted to do an article. an aquaintance who i thought had a sense of humor emailed me for bio info and i sent her this, jokingly-

" i can tango!

let's see, 33, from southern ohio, went to morehead state and utc. head of the allied invasion of Altrusia. interested in historical techniques and working with kids. in 1962 i was mvp of the red sox. live with wife johanna and our 4 dogs."

i figured she would write this up however she wished.

the paper came out this morning with the quote listed above, changed only from 1st person.

people have eben calling expressing their shock that i look so oyung, and wondering why i hadn't ever told them i used to play proffesional baseball. *sigh*

That is great...I have done a few of those myself....:D

2003 - 33 = 1970

1970 > 1962

This can mean 2 things:
a) You lied about your age (which is possible, since everything you said was out there) and/or
b) That reporter sucks at math.

Funny though :)

If they ever ask me for conclusive proof that the fourth estate is dead, I shall quote this story.

BTW, the Altrusian war crimes tribunal just called, something about a mass garden gnome grave?;)

Sounds kind of like the reporter that took down the name of someone arrested in Florida recently during a protest march. The reporter asked the person being arrested what his name was, and the guy told the report "Jablome, Heywood", so the reporter listed the guys name in the paper the next day stating something to the effect of "Police arrestted several, including Heywood Jablome of Orlando..."

I read somewhere else he was bailed out by his brother in law, Jack Hanoff.
