Well, I'm back home. As much as I've enjoyed the last couple of weeks, I must say that it's good to be back. Al and I managed to hook up with Nemm (we were sitting on a wall outside his workplace just hoping we were at the right spot). We went to a small bar nearby and had a few drinks, and them once, his not-girlfriend turned up we headed somewhere else for a couple of games of pool. It's a shame we were pressed for time, but we had to leave for our flight home after a few hours. We struck lucky at the check-in desk on the way home - we were bumped up to business class on the flight (which is a much nicer way to travel). It's been a very full, very fun and very tiring couple of weeks. I imagaine I'm going to be doing a lot of sleeping over the next couple of days before attacking my email mountain. I've briefly updated the news page, and I'll be returning to "regular duty" on Monday. To everyone who I met, either at Gen Con, in Chicago or elsewhere - it was great to see you. Special thanks go to Mark, who gave up two days to show us around Chicago and who set up the ENBoards meeting there, and to Piratecat who really went beyond the call of duty to be hospitable (can you believe that guy drove 3 hours either way to pick us up and to drop us off!). Anyway - until next year! Over the next day or so I'll be putting together a nicely formatted web page with these reports, pictures etc. as a permanent memory of the whole thing. Remember to check out the ENnies MP3, by the way. It's only the first 26 minutes of the show, but it's fun to listen to!
