Morrus/Mods/Admins - I just wrote a Play By Post FAQ!

First Post
Hi, everybody!!

I just wrote up a Play By Post FAQ for the In Character forum. It's right here. If this can be stickied, that'd be great. Dinkeldog mentioned on another thread he'd be willing to sticky just such a post.

Also, Morrus may want to put a link to the PbP FAQ in the messageboard FAQ and maybe even put a blurb in the news about it (if I may be so bold :) ).

Enjoy, all! :)

Great work, garyh! :)

I haven't seen a mention of the strategic IC games (ok, currently only the IRR), which, strictly speaking, aren't D20 either, although based on D20 rules somewhat. Any chance to add a word or two about them? :)

Thanks!

I really don't know much about those games, not having played in one. If you'd like to volunteer an entry, I'm happy to include it. :)

Excellent, garyh! Looks like the mods will have to keep an eye on that to prevent random acts of rude questioning, though. Probably just long enough to get the point across that it is a helpful thread and not one where folks can snipe at one another.

They could lock it and if a new question worthy of addition comes up unlock it long enough for it to be included.

It looks farily comprehensive though, so it shouldn't happen often if at all.

I like keeping the FAQ's unlocked. The original poster can always edit his own post and add new things that come along. It also saves us from needing multiple threads discussing the FAQ and stuff like that.

Thanks for the sticky, Eric!

And thanks for the compliment, Mark! I'm glad this has been well recieved.

I've actually thought of a couple more questions that I'm going to add tomorrow, too.

I'm going to be answering the questions in the original post in a different color, so future readers don't have to read the comments.
