hmm too short to get a real feel for the movie, though the flyover of London was cool.

it may need 3D to come across as truely impressive though
 




I thought it was a little weird as well. Why stick to these rolling cities when the land is recovering and able to support life. Seems a little strange but might be worth a watch.

iirc thats largely the premise of the story - its a post apocalyptic steampunk England/London caught up in a war to stop the moving cities destroying whats left of the worlds recovering resources (the scene in the trailer occurs in the dry basin of the North Sea)

Oh okay. Might make a little more sense now once it's released and I watch it with that in mind.
