From last Friday's M&M2e session. The scene, Egypt, at dawn, in front of the Great Sphinx... which is wearing the giant sombrero we hoisted onto its head with a helicopter. Joseirus, the teen-aged Egyptian God of Mexican Wrestling, stands in a magic circle made of burning picante sauce. An old Selena tape plays on a beat-up boom box. In the center of the circle stands the target of his ritual, a supervillainess made of air (Sylph from Factor Four) who Joseirus promised to turn back into a flesh-and-blood woman. His teammates, Whirligig, Jr and Epic, as well as several other young superheroes look on, along with a crew of UN scientists and soldiers. The ritual begins. Adjustments are made. The Sphinx is moved... just a little to the left .Then the ritual goes awry! Epic gets possessed by El Diablo Robotico, the living, breathing robot devil, Whirligig gets possessed by Vespa, the Goddess of Trendiness and Motor Scooters, who both hail from the same far-future as the Mexican/Egyptian pantheon (which couldn't come from the past, now could it?) A wild melee ensues. El Diablo turns a bunch of recording equipment into a legion of killer robots. A helicopter is knocked out of the air and into the Sphinx's face. Evil robots attempt to hit girls. Finally, Joseirus puts Epic in the Khonsuplex, temporarily nullifying his powers, then Vespa/Whirligig sashays up and knocks him out with her/his little black purse. Then the ancient undead sorcerer-priest of the real Egyptian gods, Shiit (did I forget to mention him?) casts a ritual of his own, which causes a massive mystical explosion that hurls everyone back into the past. Right into the middle of a legion of Nazi's performing their old black magic.... Top that!
