mounted combat organizations

Anyone know if there any interesting mounted riding/combat organizations in both Greyhawk and Forgotton Realms (or even Eberron)? Im not talking about knights or Cavalry unit but other type of groups that players can join.

The Ranger Knights of Furyondy in Dragon # 317 have a certain appeal, AFAIC. Don't play FR or GH, but I like the PRC anyhoo.
