Movement in Mytril Armor when playing dwarf. Absolute steel stance improves it?

First Post
Please little help here. Im play dwarf and wearing Mythril full plate (medium armor). My movement is 20 feet. I want to take Absolute steel stance (Warblade lvl3 stance). "While you are in this stance, you gain a +10-foot enhancement bonus to your speed. If you move at least 10 feet during your turn, you gain a +2 dodge bonus to AC until the beginning of your next turn.)"

1. So I have 20feet move. My move on Armor table shows 20feet. With this stance do I get extra 10feet? Can I move 30 feets then despite armor table? For example my DM didnt let me to get 30 feet with barbarian Fast Movement (A barbarian’s land speed is faster than the norm for his race by +10 feet. This benefit applies only when he is wearing no armor, light armor, or medium armor and not carrying a heavy load. Apply this bonus before modifying the barbarian’s speed because of any load carried or armor worn) So i didnt take barbarian class. Instead I tried warblade. Is this possible?

2. Second question is about Iron Heart Surge ( Your fighting spirit, dedication, and training allow you to overcome almost anything to defeat your enemies. When you use this maneuver, select one spell, effect, or other condition currently affecting you and with a duration of 1 or more rounds. That effect ends immediately. You also surge with confidence and vengeance against your enemies, gaining a +2 morale bonus on attack rolls until the end of your next turn.)

Does it works on ability dmg ? For example can I restore drained Strength back to maximum or?
Thanks for help...

First a caveat: I'm not an expert in the Bo9S, so take the below with a pinch of salt...

I want to take Absolute steel stance (Warblade lvl3 stance). "While you are in this stance, you gain a +10-foot enhancement bonus to your speed. If you move at least 10 feet during your turn, you gain a +2 dodge bonus to AC until the beginning of your next turn.)"

Yes. But you'll probably want to verify that with your DM. Because...

For example my DM didnt let me to get 30 feet with barbarian Fast Movement (A barbarian’s land speed is faster than the norm for his race by +10 feet. This benefit applies only when he is wearing no armor, light armor, or medium armor and not carrying a heavy load. Apply this bonus before modifying the barbarian’s speed because of any load carried or armor worn)

Per the RAW, your DM actually got that one wrong. Mithral full plate is medium armour, so the barbarian Fast Movement bonus should apply. Given that he has ruled otherwise, there's a decent chance he might do the same with Absolute Steel Stance.

It's perhaps important to note that ability damage and ability drain are two different things - damage is temporary and heals slowly, while drain is permanent until the character gains restoration.

However, in both cases the answer to your question appears to be "no". Both ability damage and ability drain appear to be instantaneous conditions - that is, once they apply you reduce your score accordingly and then there's nothing to dispel/negate/Iron Heart Surge. (This also makes sense from a game-balance perspective, since IHS is a level 3 power, and the ability to heal drain is waaaay out of the scope of other level 3 spells/powers.)
