Movement template?

At a recent Gameday, someone was using this clear-plastic movement template with markings for diagonals and such, i.e., so one could easily calculate how much movement a particular path would use up in D&D3.5. I think this was an actual, buyable product, but I'm not 100% sure.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Link?

A ruler?

I have seen someone paint a dowel with alternating colors in one inch increments for movement, but something specific for grid movement. I have used a tape measure when measuring out really long distance things.

Barend Nobeard has one. It is clear and can measure out to 60 ft I think. It also has several other rules/ranges on it.

No idea what it's official name is - or who makes it.
