The soundtrack to Apollo 13 is a great one - too bad it's not the one you get on the CD, which is mixed with a bunch of the pop music from the movie. The real soundtrack is hidden as an easter egg (kind of) on the DVD. I own a number of movie soundtracks - the Star Wars original trilogy box set is a good one. The TPM soundtrack was pretty good, though not, IMO up to where any of the orginal three were - "Duel of the Fates" is most cool. I thought the AotC soundtrack was damn weak. I adore the Superman sountrack, though, like Star Wars, it's almost unusable for gaming, IMO, because it's so recognizable. I believe this to be one of the 5 best movie soundtracks of all time. My favorite Star Trek soundtrack is from the original film. That contains the Kilingon theme and several other good bits. Treks II and VI also have good soundtracks. I've used the Conan sountrack a number of times for gaming. Another great cut is "The Orgy," which nobody's mentioned yet. I also love "Theology/Civilization." Hell, the whole soundtrack is awesome. The Starship Troopers sountrack, while not uniformly excellent, has some good cuts on it. One day, I swear, I'm going to run a 70's Blacksploitation one-shot and use the Shaft soundtrack (which is fantastic) as background music. I love Queen but loathe the Highlander and Flash Gordon soundtracks. And I hate Danny Elfman.
