Multiclass idea

First Post
I really love the idea of Spellscarred from the Forgotten Realms PG. Not so much the actual character design (the dailies, encounters, utillities) but the idea of making these multiclass only classes. It would be awesome to see a book of just these types of classes.

The idea I had for one, and what I thought that the Spellscarred was going to be at first was one that manipulates the characters stats. Mostly encounters or utilities that give quick boosts to a certain stat, or AC, or Relfex, and they are at-will, or reactions. I thought something along those lines would be amazingly fun. Hopefully they look into the idea of these kinda multiclasses more.

Anyone else have any ideas for these?

Might want to go to the Houserules section.

But yes, I have had a few ideas for this, myself:

Warcaster

Inspired by Iron Kingdoms. You get a construct companion called a Warjack. It works a bit like the Ranger's Beast Mastery, except that you get a steampunk robot.

Infused
Alchemical solutions have altered your body by either accident or design.
You get a lot of immediate reactions that are triggered from elemental damage.

Gambler
You are incredibly lucky. Your luck actually borders on the supernatural, though this class does not entail any clear ties to the arcane or the divine.
You get a class feature that lets you or your allies gain temporary hit points whenever they reroll dice. You also get a lot of casino themed powers.

There are a few more that I know of from third-party-publishers.

There's the Shroudborn from One Bad Egg;

The Noble from Alea Publishing Group;

And the forthcoming The Lunar Scrolls will contain a moon-themed one for each character role; you can see a preview of the Crescent Striker at silent7seven.com.

Back to the realm of the hypothetical, I really like this design space as well. While I don't think they'd release a book full of just multiclass-classes, it would be awesome if they released them semi-regularly; something like the 'lichborne' could have been in Open Grave, and the Draconomicon could have had some sort of half-dragon multiclass. Etcetera, etcetera.
