Mundane Equipment

First Post
Well my players love mundane equipment and i miss an few stuff from the equipment list..

Now i know, you can make the costs appropiate for the item.. but i am not so good at thinking out prices for mundane equipment..

Is there somekind of rule?

I was talking about things as blank paper, simple empty books, pen & ink and much more..

Anyone?

Search around for Aurora's Whole Realms Catalog. It was a second edition forgotten realms supplement that was basically a Sears catalog for medieval fantasy. Mundane pricing (outside of armor) hasn't changed much since then, so you could probably use the thing whole cloth. Plus it's laid out like a catalog, so if your players like gear, you can have them stumble across a copy in any of the hundreds of taverns it was circulated through.

I'm almost 100% positive that you can get a pdf copy cheap through rpgnow or a similar website.

But other than that, there's no rules for mundane gear. Adventurer's Vault adds some gear, and brings in alchemical items which are semi-magical.

I second this suggestion. No matter the edition, this book is a perfect supplement.
