Muppets' Wizard of Oz this Friday

I thought it was pretty good. A lot more faithful to the book than I thought it would be. I thought it would be more like the movie. My son liked it and is watching it again this morning (I TIVOed it) so it passed that test. :)

And, yes, the King Prawn did have all the best lines.

Tarantino's part was great. :)

So he worked in a Muppet movie, eh?

Then we're only one step away from my brilliant idea;

A D&D movie
Starring the Muppets
Directed by Quentin Tarrantino

(Muppet blood and guts everywhere...)

Kermit as a Paladin
Piggy as a Monk (Haaaayyyyaaah!)
Fozzy as a Wizard
Gonzo as a Rogue

The Swedish Chef as an NPC Cleric ("Hurty Gurty Healy Bealy!")
Bert and Ernie as NPC villagers

The Cookie Monster gets killed (Hey, he's a monster!)

I'm assuming Fozzie is the cowardly lion? Miss Piggy I assume is Dorthy? Who would the Wizard of Oz be or the flying monkeys?

Nope, pop singer Ashanti is Dorothy. It appears that Miss Piggy is the Wicked Witch. It would probably be better if Miss Piggy was Dorothy, but maybe I'll check it out anyway.
