Let me clarify my list from before: not all of those directly impact the game, but elements of the style of each affect my game. For example, in my main campaign, Watchmen has been used mostly for character concepts, League of Extraordinary Gentelmen for setting, The Authority for some general plot ideas, etc. I've also run some one shots that took stories almost directly from Stormwatch (Change or Die mostly, but the rest of the series is good) and The Authority (Gammora Island). I'm also trying to get some players together for a campaign based on a source I had forgot from my original list: Planetary. The players are going to be the Planetary team, and I'm even considering giving one of them a missing memory, like Elijah Snow. Let me add a few things to my original list: Planetary (All Over the World TPB, The Fourth Man TPB) The Ultimates (the story arcs that brought the team together, aprox. issues 1-5) Ultimate Spiderman (its hard to narrow it down to just one story arc, their all good, but I'd have to say the first few issues: the "with great power comes great responsibility" stuff and the green goblin.) Plasticman(Four issue miniseries with the Ooz Brothers, Rama Lama *ding dong*, Alien Wellfare worker, etc, which I believe was written by Phil Foglio) So far the new Authority has failed to impress me, but I'm hoping it'll get better. I also have to mention Automatic Kafka. This is one of the strangest series I have ever seen. I really don't know what to make of it, but I'm sure it affected me somehow, just maybe not for the better. I can't really recommend it, just because its hard to make sense of it, but if my opinion has piqued your interest you might just like it. (Edit: Forgot to "me too" the suggestion for Kingdom Come, and pretty much anything else by Mark Waid)
