My account is waaaaaaaaay messed up...

Hi. For some reason my account has been rolled back to Decembert 28th of last year. All posts, signature changes, subscribed threads, etc that I started/contributed to/made since that date no longer appear on my screen. Did I miss some catastrophic board crash? What has happened to my account? Most importantly - who do I blame?

You missed a big board crash 2 weeks back. We lost everything from Dec 28th till the boards got restored in mid May.

Yes, yes you did. We had a major database corruption, that also existed in the backups as well, according to Chris. Michael Morris, The Awesome One, had an uncorrupted backup, but it was dated December 29th 2005. We lost quite a bit.

The Bad news is, the loss of materials may be permanent.

The Good News is, Michael Morris will in the near future be attempting a rebuilding of this Database using Transaction Logs.

The Bad News is, this is not a 100% sure thing. It will be attempted as soon as his schedule allows, because it's pretty involved, and requires some other resources to line up, as well.

Russ is working on fixing any Comm. Supp. Accounts now, but it's by hand, and based on Paypal and other documentation. Check back shortly if you have not heard anything or seen any action within the next few weeks.
