The dwarves who found it found it was perfectly preserved. They found it was small, thinking it was only about 100 years old before it was caught and trapped in a land slide, or that it died before it was buried over. The other strange this is that it was that even though it had been buried over the centuries, it retained its color. They found that it was green with pale white markings, most of them sworls and such. When the cult of Tzrelixion found out, they immediately sent some of their operatives to retrieve the dragons body. Due to some bungling on the wizards part, They were only able to retrieve  the right paw (the body was destroyed in an accident). The wizard hasn't been heard of since then. Strangely, the dwarves who found it didn't have any disagreements with it's theft. The priests of Tzrelixion treated the already powerfully magical claw as to preserve it better and to prevent it from further curosion. It was later stolen. The items whereabout are unknown today.I realize this has probably been done already, but I was wondering what kind of powers this kind of item could have. I want it to be a major artifact for high level players (18 +) I was thinking of damage resistance; a couple of resistances, immunaties, or bonuses to all saves verses breath weapons; Maybe a shapeshift ability to assume either her earthly form, or any dragon. You would gain(because this is the earthly claw of a god) the breathweapons, immunities and stuff of the chosen dragon. However, you could only assume up to large (or maybe huge) and you don't gain the spells or spell like abilites of the dragon. This should be allowed up to 5/day.
