Nope. Just someone who is a bit smart and is not deluded about D&D. There are lots of sign that show that D&D's digital presence is a mess. I named them already. It doesn't seem like you adress any of them. Just personal attacks. It must mean you're right. ;) Fanboys will rush to defend aggressively anyone who didn't drink the kool-aid. Just check the thread about the critic the guy from Obsidien did. A mass zerging to defend their beloved... WotC/Hasbro? They need so much less edits that they have to cancel a 300 page splatbook just two weeks after they release the cover art for that book. ;) Cause the opposite isn't possible. ;) It is about being an adult who is not blinded by brand loyalty. It doesn't look good for the future. It is also about knowing the history of D&D. Products cancelled happened in the late 90s when TSR was in financial troubles. It happened again when 4e was in trouble. Some people see paterns. Paterns do not necessarely mean there is something there. It just means you look at the paterns and do not make up excuses for what is plainly there. I've heard that excuse a few times. It is bad business nowadays. The money isn't in core books. It is in the other books you buy. The core books just explain to you how to play the game. Some people just do not buy physical books anymore. Not pratical or too expensive. Some want physical and digital support. Not releasing ebooks is just loosing these clients when the game is hot and there is lots of word of mouth. Transformers!? Tranformers, core books in disguise! They won't. [quot]But no, they must just be dazed and confused....
Not what I said. Try again, champ. Being informed, making links between info and seeing paterns is magic now? I'm a sorcerer, mom! I actually made some decent cash in the stock market. As for D&D, just look at the signs. A lot of us saw the end of 3.5, the end of 4e, the rise of Pathfinder. Sure, there were proud defenders of D&D, cause we must hate D&D if we are worried or critical of it, but in the end we were right. Is it the case here? We shall see. Anyone can bewrong.
