Back in 2015 a little after the Elemental Player's Companion and Princes of the Apocalypse came out I made a wishlist for what I'd like to see in D&D 5e sooner or latter (pref sooner for most them, but at the time I didn't understand the slow and deliberate release cycle for this edition). About 5 years latter, lets see where my wishlist stands. "1. More material for the various campaign settings (Greyhawk, Forgotten Realms, Eberron, Dark Sun, Dragonlance, Birthright, and Mystara), full book releases or player's companions, whatever just more. And maybe how they can all connect to each other (Spelljammer!)" Well we finally have some full campaign setting books; Guild Masters' Guide to Ravnica, Eberron: Rising From The Last War, Explorer's Guide to Wildemount, and Mythic Odysseys of Theros. Three of these are brand new settings to D&D while the rest of the older settings get token mentions here and there in the various books. "2. More planar goodies. the current state of Sigil, a list of the domains of dread deep in the shadow fell, maybe a planar player's companion that has player race rules for more planetouched and rouge modrons." Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes gave us Tiefling subraces, Eladrin, Shadar-Kai, and the Githyanki and Githzerai. But it mainly focused on some planar lore like the Blood War, the rift between elven races, the Illithid empire and the Gith uprising. Aside from some teasing references, it seems like a dedicated Spelljammer or Planescape book is far off if ever coming. Still for a planetouched party we have; Tieflings, Aasimar, Genasi, Eladrin/Shadar-Kai Elves, and the 2 Gith races.
