My edited/locked thread in D20 Publishers

First Post
After reading the endless inflammatory and insulting posts directed at Avalanche Press over the last 2 years, I am quite angered by the fact my post regarding Sean Reynolds was edited.

If, to avoid flamewars or political debates, the thread was deemed necessary to close, fine, I won't argue that.

But to edit what I said is, imo, a bit much.

Please un-edit the post or delete the thread, to leave it as is totally defeats the message I was conveying.

(edited to remove moot points)

Please e-mail the moderator in question (Henry, I believe) your concern instead of posting it here.
Thank you. :)

Actually, I'm going to address this, because it raises an excellent point.

I think it's fair to ask that a thread not be edited in such a way that it inadvertently twists the original message. As a result, I've removed the remaining content (including the image.)

Just for reference, you're absolutely right that it wasn't a personal attack (although I think some people thought it was.) It was well over the "no politics" line, though, and I'm sure you were aware of that. Posting the thread with the attached image was inappropriate, and so it got closed and edited.

Just to be clear; we're getting tired of people trying to push the boundaries of the "no politics" rule. If someone does, we have no compunction with deleting or editing out the offending message. We're not going to serve as a billboard for someone who posts a political message and knows that it will get closed, but that thousands of people are still going to see it.
