Coiaonien Sullaerdrie Life-Giving Breath of Aerdrie(Spell orginally developed by priestess of Aerdie Faenya) Conjuration(Healing) Spellcraft DC: 97 Components: V, S, DF Casting Time: 1 round Range: Personal Area: 200 ft. Duration: Instantaneous Saving Throw: N/A Spell Resistance: N/A To Develop: 783,000 gp; 15 days development time; 31,320 XP. Seed: Healing(DC 25), Life(DC 27). Factors: Change touch to target (+4 DC), Change target to area 20 ft. radius (+10 DC), Increase area 900% (+36 DC), Only affects creatures of the caster's deity's alignment(see text) (ad-hoc DC +5). Mitigating Factors: Backlash 20d6 points of damage (-20 DC). This spell can only be cast by a powerful cleric who posesses a holy symbol given to them directly by her god. The symbol acts as a conduit for pure divine energy, which flows from the divine into the caster, building up over the period of one minute, and then released in the form of a sphere of white(good/law deity), grey(neutral deity), or black(evil/chaos deity) energy which quickly expands from within the caster's body, who convulses violently and is wracked with pain as the divine energy is released, dealing the caster 20d6 damage. The conformation can be of moral nature, (i.e. Good, Neutral, Evil) so if the caster's deity is good, only good creatures are healed/resurrected; if the deity is neutral, only neutral creatures are healed/resurrected; if the deity is evil, only evil creatures are healed/resurrected. Or the conformation can be one of law or chaos. This is more likely in the cases of pure Law and Chaos Deities (Lawful Neutral, Chaotic Neutral) such as Helm or Tempus, whom embody not good or evil, but pure Law or Chaos. So if the caster's deity is Lawful, only lawful creatures are healed/resurrected; if chaotic, only chaotic creatures are healed/resurrected. Or the conformation may be done in terms of alignments one step away from the Deity's. I.E. If the deity is Chaotic Good, only creatures of Chaotic Good, Chaotic Neutral, and Neutral Good alignment are healed/resurrected. The deity can, of course, choose other distinguishing factors, such as race(orc gods/creatures, elf gods/creatures, dwarf gods/creatures), although she always chooses the one which would best fit the situation, as the spell is designed to be used in large-scale combats, such as battles between opposing armies.
