My Five Words of Freedom

Knightfall

World of Kulan DM
Okay, I just got back my lastest essay assignment. This one was for my Grammar class. I was really happy with it, personally, but I wasn't sure that my instructor was going to like it. It was Dungeons and Dragons reference that had me concerned, since there has always been that stigma attached to game. Howevr, my worries were unfounded and I got 90% on the essay! :D

Happy, Happy!

Anyway, here is a link to my essay, on my own forums:

http://walktheroad.s1.bizhat.com/viewtopic.php?t=75&mforum=walktheroad

There are some political references (and a minor religious one) made in the essay, but nothing that should violate EN World's rules, IMO. Regardless, if you feel you want to comment on it politically (or religiously) to me then I suggest you join my forum and post it there or send me an e-mail.

Let's keep any political/religious comments away from EN World.

Cheers!

Excellent job Knightfall! I thought your prose was great, and it's good to see another ENer interested in writing. I applaud the fact that you've found something which alleviates your depression, and I know where you are coming from. For me, music is my path to catharsis, and (ironically enough) I wrote an essay for my Academic Writing class about (dun dun dun dun!) heavy metal! In a similar vein, I was slightly worried that I was going to receive a reduced mark due to it's content about metal music and sub-culture, but I ended up acing it with a 95%/A+ grade :D Very proud of that one

If you're interested, I could post it.

Anyways, great essay, and glad to hear about the good grade there :D

cheers,
