I want to again thank all of you here. This is why I like our little EN World community. We help each other out. If anyone is ever stopping by the Northern Virginia, Washington DC area and want to hang out or need something....lemme know. Weapons of Legacy?? Okay...I guess I will thumb through it...on your recomendation. I saw references to in in the new RL remake module. Thanks again for the suggestion. What do you all think about use test-based prerequisites? I like the idea personally. I been wracking my brain as to what should I have the fighter in question do to become a paladin. Some is easy. He by game mechanics needs this... Alignment: Lawful good. BAB:+4. Skills: Knowledge (religion) 2 ranks, Knowledge (nobility and royalty) 2 ranks, Ride 4 ranks. Feats: Mounted Combat. Spellcasting: Ability to cast protection from evil as a divine spell. Special: Ability to turn undead The Ride skill and mounted combat...the keep/dungeon/whatever is guarded by the death knights squad of undead cavalry. He has to best their leader to get the key (or something for the gate) Turn the undead and protection vs. evil. The turn part would be great...cut down and cower the lesser undead to fight the cav leader...not required but nice. The prot vs. evil...I dunno...have another guardian be some kind of BBEG that possesses people. I am a bit hazy on how to test him on it. Knowledge (religion)...the relic is hidden and having basic knowledge of religion helps find it. Also the initiation ceremoney to follow helps with that. Knowledge (noblity)..the death knight will only fight the fighter and tell him where to find it if he can entertain him with some knowledge of courtly things currently going on....once again another hazy part. The BAB....c'mon easy one. Can he fight these things. The alignment....okay...how do you prove you are lawful good? Bring the relic back? "Look he isn't burning up...he must be lawful good" or should I go another route?
