So, the song "Hark, the Herald Angels Sing" comes on and Jody starts singing along and then turns to me and says, "The angels! They're harkening!" A slight pause. Then, "They're Harkonen! You know, like 'House Harkonen'!" </p><p></p><p>I just looked at her and waited for her to realize what she'd done before commenting that, on a scale of geekiness, that was pretty much right up there at the top considering that I have friends with serious geek street cred who NEVER would have come up with that segue.</p><p></p><p>Then, just last week, she was at work and had to hang up some flyers. She sent one of her co-workers back to her desk to pick up some more flyers. The co-worker returns a few minutes later with a stack of papers in his hands and says, "Are these the flyers you were looking for?"</p><p></p><p>Jody waves her hand in front of the guy's face and replies with, "These aren't the flyers you're looking for."</p><p></p><p><img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile :)" data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" /></p></blockquote><p></p>
