[MENTION=10479]Mark CMG[/MENTION] - adding paint doesn't weaken the mix, but you need to make sure your paint is thoroughly mixed with the plaster/compound or it will streak or discolor and be very uneven (ie it will look really crappy)
As for Dwarven Forge, I'll tell Jeff Martin you think the price is too high, I work for him.
I will say this, the process of building the pieces involves a whole lot more than you can imagine - BTW the new elf village set that is coming out looks amazing.
And you should build stairs, you can never have enough stairs.
