Yeah, I know exactly what you were driving at. I am annoyed that the rest of my group behaves so odd but they just don't like me being in charge of their characters fates at some points... Gets them quite upset and there is a debate at almost every turn of the dice when things get hairy for them. Arguments happen ESPECIALLY with this new set (3e) of rules.... I thought that this would save some of the arguments as things (combat for one) seemed to be explained better, but in actuality there are more then before as each person tries to argue a point that they might have seen in the rules or exploits some ambiguity. I recently blew my top a couple of sessions ago though and told the others that my decision would stay until I could look it up at the end of the game. I would NOT go back in time though even if it revolved around a character's death at the time... I berated the offender and dropped him into submissiveness with threats of banishment and so forth... Anyway, threats of violence have kept them in line for at least the last two sessions... We'll see. I'm bringing an axe to the table next week! ;) Aluvial
