The Adros are a breed of devils that specialize in gluttony. Their favorite pass time is capturing mortals and other creatures and fattening them up, force feeding them until they cant move, then devouring them or keeping them as pets.
Adros appear as extremely fat female humanoids with the lower halves of octopi, there lower halves are green or purple, while they usually have light purple skin with green hair. They also usually have arrogant looks on their faces. Although they are quite fat, they can be described as quite pretty, in a rubenesque way.
Adros live almost exclusively on the third layer of Baator, although they are on good terms with Mammon, they are not Baatezu and have little concern with the blood war. Adros often live in massive palaces that offer protection from the harsh elements of the third layer. These palaces are often attended by Barbazu and Erinyes that are on loan from comrades of the Adros. The Adros also have good relations with the Rakshasha, who often use them to fatten up unruly concubines for them. The Adros hate Kyton’s, however, and steer clear of the Jangling Hiter because of it.
Adros often travel the planes, they usually go either to Mechanus or the elemental plane of water though, as they despise the conditions of the other lawful evil outer planes.
Adros are renowned gluttons, they devour the most exotic of foods, as well as lesser devils, Mephits, petitioners, and any adventurers unlucky to show up at the wrong time.
Combat: Adros despise physical combat, usually preferring to lie back and allow her minions to fight off any attackers for her. When forced into battle she lashes out with her tentacles and bites from her flat grinding attack. She is a bit clumsy with such attacks though, so she usually supports with her magic when she can.
Improved grab (ex): Whenever the Adros strikes a single opponent with two or more tentacles attacks, she may attempt a grapple check without an attack of opportunity.
Swallow whole (ex.) If the Adros rolls a critical on her attack roll with a bite attack, she can choose to swallow a creature one-size level smaller than her or more whole. Swallowed creatures take 2d8+16 damage from the extreme pressure and acid of her digestive track per round. Also, all items carried also receive damage each round, and will also be quickly destroyed. PC’s may attempt to cut their way out, requiring a small slashing weapon to do so. The Adros’ innards have an ac of 25, and require damage equal to half the Adros’ current hit points to cut a whole large enough to escape.
An Adros can choose to disgorge a swallowed opponent as a free action, and will do so if she fears internal injury.
Damage reduction 15/+3 (Su): The Adros ignores the first 15 points of damage from weapons of less than +3 enchantment. As a result of her fat, soft body, she also ignores the first 20 damage from bludgeoning attacks, regardless of enchantment.
Spell like abilities: At will- Charm person, Grease, shadow conjuration, create food and water, Gluttony (described in the Swords and sorcery book “relics and rituals”), Reverse gravity and energy drain, 3/day- Mirage Incarna, Teleport without error, Polymorph self, 1/day- time stop.
Immunities (ex): Adros are immune to fire, acid, poison, and cold damage. They have 20 electricity resistance.
Outsider (ex): Adros have dark vision of 60 ft
Special note: At the time I wrote this up, I was unaware of the queen of chaos. Oh, I knew she existed, but I had no idea what she looked like physically. So, any resemblence between her and my monster is purely coincidental.
Besides, both of them pretty much rip off the little mermaid villian urusla anyways.
So anyways, what do you think?
