Its such a good word...isn't it? Sorry...I forgot to actually put the link.. its actually on wizards.com's boards http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=158787 Most of the population is unaware or just plain don't beleive in spirits, ghosts, and undead....things are on the verge of coming out in the open.. Its Dpeartment-7's job to not let that happen...for instance a town in the midwest gets hit by a zombie plague...its D7's job to quarantine and eradicate...and then come up with cover story. So yeah, its primarily mission based and in secret. Think ghostbusters meets men in black wrapped up in a cthulhu-esque shell. :) I do plan on doing something like this...it'll be defferent than sanity and typical stress though. Since characters will be dealing with the undead and spirits...I'm going go with a mechanic that actually effects a characters lifeforce....its stress that effects the very lifeforce of the character...and extensive damage to your lifeforce can result in turning to an undead creature yourself, your spirit be forced from your body, or even your spirit being completely erased (possibly turning you into a mindless zombie-like undead) Me too....me too. :) I plan on it. The campaign is going to only have 1 permanant star character (my friend chris...wallshot on these boards)..with some cameo characters from other friends every once in a while. I'm going to start it off with kinda a Law and Order feel....starting all mundane and then eventually D7 will persisitantly try to recruit him as he starts being exposed to the whole spirit phenomenon. I'm actually at his place now...we're working on his character and how things are gonna start out...i'll post more about it as things progress...and I'll start a story hour.
