6 or so years ago was a CIA show on CBS, The Agency, I think. It was cancelled and left us with a cliffhanger. Two agents handcuffed to a bomb and one was trying to pick the lock on the handcuffs.

Similarly, in the Fall of 2005, ABC canceled its first-year show Night Stalker several weeks in (possibly due to low ratings) after airing part one of a two-part story arc.

The short-lived show's entire run (including the later filmed episodes ABC didn't broadcast) was later aired on Sci Fi Channel, but still...
