My simple prediction about Gleemax

I'm just bummed that at 26 (just about the median age btw in the three gaming stores I frequent) I apparently dont have too much longer left to play magic before becoming a pedafile.
Stop pretending to be 14 years older than you really are, you Gleemax-Lover!

Has anyone tried to visit the wizards.com, I mean the gleemax.com messageboard at this moment?

Just want to confirm the web page is down.

Yeah, it's been down for quite a while. In fact, it went down while I was visiting it. It's really annoying because it sort of works, but you can't get into a forum.

Not sure whether it was intentional or unintentional.

Well, it was too early for their evening maintenance cycle. And I don't recall any maintenance warning notice.

I'm still hoping they would re-enable the "Remember Me" function. Hate to keep typing my password in.

I've found that I much prefer companies that communicate with their fan base. So I like Green Ronin, Paizo, Goodman, TLG, AEG, et al They answer my questions, they let me in on their plans. They act like I, and the rest of their customer base, matters.

Oh, this is ridiculous.

When the word about Dragon & Dungeon being cancelled first hit, Wizards specifically said that they weren't elaborating on their plans because they didn't want to steal the spotlight from Paizo's Pathfinder and Gamemastery announcements. If Wizards had given us basic details of their new plan (which I'm sure they could have) that news would have overshadowed the Pathfinder announcement in most channels. Once the print magazines are done, and Pathfinder has hit the stands, then we will hear about Dragon Online. Paizo and Wizards ended their agreement on amicable terms, and Wizards are timing their announcements so that they do not injure their former licensee.

But that's not really conducive to venting your anger, is it?

Well, not to knock some of them, but for Green Ronin, I'm still waiting for any news about Dragon Fist. AFAIK, they don't want to talk about it, they even closed up the forum dedicated to Dragon Fist for a year now.

For Paizo, I have seen some announcement of new magazines (not including Pathfinder, though I don't count it as such), but since they shut down Polyhedron, they haven't been able to launch a magazine to support d20 Modern. Honestly, I don't think WotC have considered that for their Digital Initiative plan.

People, the unnecessary snark and negativity that seems to pervade any mention of the topic of Gleemax is begining to harsh my mellow. And given the local temperature, my mellow is not in mint condition at things stand. Let's dial it back a notch so's I don't have to go all Orcus on somebody, m'kay?

Aww, but Relcus is so much fun! :P

Well... now that they've migrated all of the WotC forums over to Gleemax, dragging over all of those existing users whether they like it or not, they can now say that its an instant huge success. Never mind that you have to keep on logging in to stay in, unlike the old boards. What a pain in the ....

God, that's the reason I have to do that? I hate it already.

Um no.
We are in the middle of changing the sign on feature to be better prepared for upcoming features. For what it's worth, it is driving me insane as well. :)
