I've been working on a playable Yuan-ti with racial feats for my campaign and wanted to get some feedback. I want to give particular thanks to Appleseeth as I took inspiration from his racial trait (my original trait was similar but far weaker) but ultimately I went in a different direction and I wanted to see what people thought. Yuan-ti Average Height: 6'3" - 6'8" Average Weight: 220-260 lb. Ability Scores: +2 Dexterity, +2 Charisma Size: Medium Speed: 7 squares Vision: Low-light Languages: Common, Draconic Skill Bonuses: +2 Stealth, +2 Bluff Serpent's Resilience: +5 racial bonus to saving throws against poison. As well, whenever you are hit by a poison, make an immediate saving throw to end the effect. Slippery Foe: You gain a +1 racial bonus to Reflex defense. Chamelon Defense: You can use Chamelon Defense as an encounter power. Chameleon Defense - Yuan-Ti Racial Power By shifting your weight ever so slightly, you begin to blend in with your surroundings, making it harder for your enemies to see you. Encounter Minor Action - Personal Effect: Until you end of your next round you gain concealment. In addition, you do not take the -5 modifier to stealth checks when moving more than 2 squares. At 21st level, you gain total concealment. Heroic Tier Feats: Cobra Heritage Prerequisites: Yuan-ti Benefit: You gain a +1 feat bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls when you use a power that has the poison or psychic keyword. Constricting Grasp Prerequisites: Yuan-ti Benefit: You may use either Dexterity or Strength when attempting a grab against an opponent. You also gain a +1 bonus to all grab attacks, as well as a +1 bonus to all defenses against Acrobatics and Athletics checks to escape a grab. Slither Away Prerequisites: Yuan-ti Benefit: You gain a +2 feat bonus to movement speed during any round in which you use your Second Wind ability. Yuan-ti Sharpeye Prerequisites: Yuan-ti Benefit: You gain proficiency and a +2 feat bonus to damage rolls with all bows and scimitars. Paragon Tier Feat: Poisonous Bite Prerequisites: Yuan-ti, Constricting Grasp, Cobra Heritage Benefit: The poisonous bite racial encounter power replaces one of your encounter powers. The power it replaces must be 11th level or higher. In addition, you gain a +1 bonus to movement speed while moving a grabbed opponent. Poisonous Bite - Feat Power After constricting your foe, you unleash a vicious bite attack, injecting your deadly venom in them. Encounter * Poison Standard Action - Melee Target: One creature you have in a grab Attack: Dexterity vs. Reflex Effect: 2d12 + Dexterity modifier poison damage, and the target takes ongoing 10 poison damage and is dazed (save ends both). EDIT: Added the Poison keyword to Poisonous Bite. Updated damage of Poisonous Bite from 2d10 to 2d12. Updated Constricting Grasp so it adds bonus to defenses against escape attempts. Also made bonuses granted by Constricting Grasp untyped bonuses, particularly so it will stack with the other paragon defense feats. Mostly I am attempting with these feats to make grabbing an opponent a much more useful thing to do in combat, and if anyone should be good at it it'd be the Yuan-ti. Thoughts?
