Myth20 Fantasy: Races (Dwarfs) Myth20 Fantasy: Races (Dwarfs) Dwarfs determine Strength and Constitution by rolling 2d6 and add 6. Charisma is determined by rolling 2d6 and adding 2. The other characteristics are determined normally. Dwarfs stand about 4 feet tall. They are heavily built and weigh accordingly. Being robust they have a specific gravity greater than water, and so cannot float without aid. If somebody invented deep-sea diving on the world of Myth20 dwarfs would have a big advantage in the field over other races. Dwarfs tend to the fair in coloration, for they are almost never found in the warmer climes. Any traits and adjustments to skills depend on the community raised in. In some ways dwarfs are more clannish than elves. In other ways less clannish. Dwarfs will associate more with other races, but at the same time they are less likely to take up even temporary residence. Most of the time when dwarfs are found living among other races it is in dwarven neighborhoods. Or a dwarven community will be found neighboring one inhabited by another race. As suspicious as they are of other 'pureblood' races dwarfs reserve active animosity for 'mongrels'. They rarely associate with half elves, and half orcs are utterly beyond the pale. A dwarf would sooner trust an orc than a half elf. (Yep, a sketch and not a full portrait. Suggestions for fleshing out dwarfs is welcome.)
